Third generation Matt Panziera and fourth generation Zach Panziera,
grandson and great-grandson to Bob and Mary Bianchi, have taken on farming grapes for the family!
Bob Bianchi, Sr., to us Papa, was a passionate and humble rancher and cattleman. In 1940, Bob, along with 3 others from across the state, earned the very first 4-H Diamond Star honors in California history! Papa Bob was the very first in Monterey County history. He was a pioneer in the 4-H, cattle and ranching world. His dedication, integrity and high quality care of his cattle, led him to raise award winning results. Decedents of the original herd still exist on the Bianchi Cattle Ranch today! Third generation cousin and namesake to our Papa Bob, Bob Bianchi, II, and his wife Jackie, are now running the Bianchi Cattle Co. and YOU TOO can get a taste of wholesome, healthy, pure, grass-fed and hand finished beef. Our Cattle are raised in the Santa Lucia Highlands in Monterey County, all free-range and natural spring watered.

Our Father-Son Farming team are 4th generation farmers. Matt is a plant doctor by trade and has farmed in the Salinas Valley for over 3 decades, not including his childhood where he grew up watching his father and uncles farm while he moved pipe and helped with the family farm. He brings decades of farming expertise. Zach also grew up watching his grandfathers and father farm and has been farming for the past several years now, himself. He is eager and excited to master the art of farming a specialty vineyard.
